Currently we are looking for a creative
Web-Designer
who likes to join the jWebSocket team and collaborate with our web developers.
We are working on plain HTML/CSS w/o the use
of plug-ins. If you have
experience
in Web-Design and
also have a well founded knowledge about GIMP, Photoshop
or similiar we
would like to know you.
It would be a good start if you are also experienced in
HTML, XML, CSS, DOM and
JavaScript
and know about
crossbrowser compatibility issues. If you are familiar
with WebSockets
this would be an added benefit.
We are also looking for an experienced
Java Developer
with well-founded knowledge particularly in Swing, J2EE, XML,
TCP-Sockets,
Multithreading-Environments and the Tomcat JSP-Container.
Experience in TCP, HTTP and WebSocket protocols as well as in
Application Servers
like JBoss or Glassfish would be a benefit. If you are experienced in
JMS/JMX or JavaME
we would also like to know you.
Also if you are an experienced
Web Developer
with well-founded knowledge in JavaScript, HTML 4/5, CSS, DOM, XHR/AJAX,
Apache, Tomcat you would be a great enrichment for the jWebSocket team.
Knowledge of a framework like jquery, dojo, prototype, scriptaculous,
mootools,
qooxdoo, zk as well as experience in Comet
and Polling mechanisms would be a
great benefit.
And last but not the least we would be happy to meet a
Translator (Native Speaker, English)
who supports us to create documentation and write articles for
various magazines,
forums
and also proof-read our existing documentation and website.
